We are officially adding another trusted and tested industry partner with the coming of Queer Hands by Martin Jhaye. The company is headed by Martin, who is not only an events coordinator but also a host and make-up artist.
With about 15 years of professional events work behind him it is no wonder that he would be booked with 2-3 events per week, ranging from your personal celebrations such as weddings and birthdays but also other events such as pageants and other photo shoots.
Coming from a preschool education background, Martin branched out into doing events as it feeds his need to work with a lot of people and need to further explore and challenge his talents. One perk that he particularly likes is being able to travel locally and internationally doing the thing he loves the most.
Martin enjoys every aspect of his work and says that each event he does, whether he’s a host, a coordinator or a make up artist, is memorable because each event has its own story and calls for him to do his job in its own specific way. It inspires him to do his job well and to improve himself even further with each event.
If there was one piece of advice he would like to impart to those planning their events, especially to those planning their big wedding day, is to be practical and operate within your budget but without sacrificing their dream event. Having that balance of practicality and indulgence will make sure that the couple does not have any regrets especially when looking back on that special day. This is, after all, supposed to be a memorable and unforgettable memory for their family, friends and other guests.
